Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour (not self-rising)
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla
- 4 eggs
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F
- Sift dry ingredients
- In the mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar for 5 minutes. Add eggs one at-a-time.
- Add buttermilk to dry ingredients bowl.
- Combine all bowls together.
- Bake for 1 hour.
